Welcome!

The Graduate Association of School Psychology (GASP) was established at Illinois State for school psychology trainees. Each year, GASP members:

  • Meet applicants at the doctoral program and specialist program interview days
  • Assist at the annual Intern and Intern Supervisor Workshop
  • Attend and participate in ISPA, NASP, MPA, and/or APA conventions
  • Develop the New Trainee Welcome Packet that is distributed each summer
  • Present an orientation program for new trainees
  • Organize social events for trainees
  • Participate in National School Psychology Week to bring awareness about school psychology to the community
  • Sponsor fundraising events to fund program activities. Donations are welcome!!!
  • Supply amenities for the Psychological Services Center
  • Engage in other activities suggested by the GASP members
