Hello! My name is Dr. James M. Skibo. I am an Emeritus Distinguished Professor of Anthropology at Illinois State University.
I have an interest in archaeological method and theory. From 2000 to 2018, and I co-edited, with Catherine Cameron, the Journal of Archaeological Method and Theory. I also edited a book series, Foundations of Archaeological Inquiry.
I am the co-Director, with Gina Hunter, of the Old Main Project, and I am the Director of the Grand Island Research Program. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Becky, for over 30 years and we have two great kids, Matt and Sadie.
