Lydia Wilkes is Assistant Professor and Writing Program Administrator at Auburn University. Her publications include two coedited collections, Rhetoric and Guns and Toward More Sustainable Metaphors of Writing Program Administration, and book chapters on online writing instruction and ethical considerations for teaching and generative AI in higher education. Her forthcoming scholarship includes an article on settler harm reduction through avowing settler status in College Composition and Communication and book chapters on AI’s environmental harm in Bad Ideas about AI and Writing and Writing Spaces vol. 7.
