About Us

The objectives of the Biomathematics Program at ISU include:

  • to provide a cross disciplinary and well focused learning environment to develop skills in applications of mathematics and statistics to biological problems
  • to enhance the effectiveness of the graduate training sequence by creating a “cohort” experience for the new graduate students
  • to provide cohesive and focused research, learning and training for students ​of the program
  • to provide a solid research background for further academic studies.
