Story
Christine Rehor-Frederico was a member of the 1985-1988 ISU volleyball team, a four-year letter winner, and one of the best offensive volleyball players in Illinois State history. She is part of Illinois State Athletics Percy Family Hall of Fame was selected to the MVC All-Centennial Volleyball Team in 2006. She passed away in June 2011 fighting against Leukemia. A Liriodendron tulipifera, commonly called tulip tree or yellow poplar, was planted in remembrance of Rehor-Federico. The unveiling of a plaque in honor of Rehor-Federico concluded the ceremony held on August 20th, 2011.
