Story
During the 1990-91 season, the 6-foot-6-inch, men’s basketball player Reggie Wilson became only one of five players in ISU history to lead the team in scoring and rebounding in the same season. He also became the first player in ISU history to be named the Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year. In his senior year, Wilson’s basketball career was over after shattering his leg in the 10th game of the season. He continued studying at ISU, graduated, and moved back to Chicago to work. In January 1994, Wilson was found dead with his girlfriend, Felicia Lewis, from bullet wounds. He passed away when he was 23 years old.
