Our Celtic team was formed about 7 years ago and stated out with a small group of friends. Some were knowledgeable soccer players, some wanted exercise. As time has gone on we’ve blossomed into a rather large squad at times having 3 teams playing in 3 separate leagues, in 3 different cities. We’ve had many players come and go but our core group stays the same. In the last few years Celtic has upped their game becoming more competitive and winning tournaments and leagues throughout central Illinois. Aside from the soccer bond we share, we are all great friends and hang out with each other’s families on occasion. We have procured 3 separate sponsorships being Central IL Chiropractic, Henson Disposal & Avanti’s Italian Restaurant. There are many big things in store for our team but for right now, we embrace our current championship win! I personally believe that we have the tightest knit group around. Attached are a few pics.
