Goals

The mission of ISPIC is to improve the mental health of children, adolescents, and their families by train interns who promote the highest quality educational and mental health services.   In order to achieve its mission, ISPIC has set the following goals:

Commensurate with entry-level health service psychologists, exiting interns will:

  • engage in culturally competent service delivery
  • consistently integrate research and practice.
  • solve complex academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health problems at the individual and systems levels..
  • engage in ethical/legal practice, on-going professional development, and contributions to the field.
