Managerial Economics

ECO 320
Industrial Organization
The course provides an introduction tobasic economic and strategic models of modern industrial organization. We will add to the textbook discussion with formal case studies and real world examples to cover some of the most important topics including game theory, basic oligopoly models, and various pricing strategies.
ECO 322 (formerly ECO 343)
Competition and Managerial Strategies
I developed this new economics course in Fall 2012. The course provides an introductory but in-depth analysis of game theory and its applications to managerial strategy in competitive, oligopolistic, and monopolistic markets.
ECO 423 (formerly ECO 443)
Games and Strategies
Foundations of game theory with an emphasis on formal methods. Applications are given to classic games and economic models. The course introduces both contemporary theories and empirical applications.
