BSC 490 – Biostatistics
Statistical techniques encountered in biological research with emphasis on proper use and interpretation of analyses. Lecture & lab (taught in R). Offered Fall 2025.
BSC 406 – Conservation Biology
Graduate course. Principles of conservation ecology, conservation genetics, and conservation systematics, with applications to biodiversity preservation and ecosystem function maintenance. Offered Fall 2024.
BSC 290 – Research In Biological Sciences
Field and/or laboratory research in the biological sciences involving participation in the scientific process with faculty and graduate students. Students are expected to work (on average) a minimum of 3 hours per week for each hour of credit.
BSC 499 – Independent Research For The Master’s Thesis
A student electing the thesis option must take from four to six hours of 499.
