Project Summary: I am interested in understanding the mechanisms that contribute to the development of autoimmune disease. My project is focused on the identification and analysis of JAK-STAT pathway genes in Drosophila cellular immunity and autoimmunity.

Project Summary: My current research focuses on how energy is regulated during an immune response utilizing the host-parasite interaction of Drosophila melanogaster and parasitoid wasps. My focus is on the PVR/PVF1 pathway and extracellular adenosine and how they interact to regulate energy during an immune response. ​
