Psychology 123: Human Sexuality

Spring 2014
J.B. Pryor, Ph.D

Goals of the Course

The primary objective of this course is to give the student a broad overview of human sexuality. The scientific study of sexuality is multidisciplinary. We will cover topics ranging from the physiology of sexual arousal to social issues such as rape and sexual harassment. My own professional training is in social psychology and behavioural aspects of sexuality often will be emphasised in the course. By the end of the course, I hope that students will develop a knowledge base that will help them in understanding their own sexuality as well as the role of sexuality in society.
