We will hold our 1st annual conference, “Methodologies and Methods,” on Friday, April 28, from 9am-4pm at Illinois State University (Stevenson Hall).
The keynote address will be delivered by Michele Simmons (Miami University), author of Participation and Power: Civic Discourse in Environmental Policy Decision. Additional presentations will be given in the morning by Donnie Sackey (Wayne State), Eric Pritchard (University of Illinois), and Katherine Silvester (Indiana University). The afternoon will include a variety of roundtable discussions, moderated by these guest speakers and our own Illinois State University faculty, geared towards assisting graduate students in workshopping and further developing methodologies and methods for their own research projects.
