Camryn Kirkham Granted Travel Award for Research!

Our lab is excited to congratulate our second-year AuD lab member, Camryn Kirckham, who was awarded the Audiology/Hearing Science Research Travel Award (ARTA) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)!

Camryn is completing graduate coursework, clinical work, AND chose to conduct a capstone to fulfill her graduate degree requirements. This capstone focuses on hearing loss and cognition in collaboration with Dr. Shraddha Shende.

The ARTA is a competitive award for AuD, PhD, and postdoctoral fellows that are interested in expanding their knowledge of research. Through this opportunity, Camryn has received complimentary registration to the ASHA convention in Seattle, along with a $750 stipend.

We are extremely proud of Camryn and her achievement, it is well deserved and we’re excited to hear about her experience in Seattle! For more information on the ARTA, click here.
