Volunteers Needed

Researchers at the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Illinois State University are seeking volunteers 55 years and older who have hearing loss OR no history of hearing loss for a research study being conducted to better understand the relationship between hearing ability, psychosocial functions, and cognition. There is no cost for participation, and volunteers will be compensated for their participation in the study. Parking will be available at no cost to the participant.

You may be eligible if:

• You are 55 years or older
• You are medically healthy
• You have hearing loss in one or both ears

You may not be eligible if you:

• Have a history of psychological or neurological illness
• Have a history of drug or alcohol abuse
• Have severe cognitive or physical impairments
