Cherlyn and I were married by Pastor Arlo David Peterson, witnessed by Michael Hazelrigg (Best Man), Meredith Belsha (Maid of Honor), and our immediate families, just before the spectacular sun set on the 8th of January 2000 aboard a 60 foot Schooner in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Key West, Florida.
A Reception was thrown for Mid-Western “Land Lubbers” right here in Normal in the Large Prairie Room in the Bone Student Center on the 4th of March 2000. A string quartet took us through pre-prandials and dinner, and then 50 years of popular dance music and disposable cameras at every table to the end of the night.
