NORMAL – Illinois State University has announced the cancellation of all classes on Wednesday, due to extreme winter weather conditions, bringing dangerously low temperatures to much of the Midwest.
The cancellation period will be in effect from 11 p.m. Tuesday evening until 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
A Wind Chill Warning will be in effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday evening until noon Thursday, with temperatures reaching lows of -18 and highs of -11 over the next two days.
Students who have classes beginning before 9:30 a.m. on Thursday are encouraged to check with their professors for further directions on class attendance.
