Kite Fest 2022 in Bloomington

NORMAL, Ill.- Non- profit organization for a better tomorrow is hosting its ninth annual fundraising event.

Kite Fest 2022 is inviting all children and adults to fill the sky with kites of all shapes, sizes and colors on Saturday, June 11 at Grove Elementary. Other planned activities include live performances, Robotics/Astronomy presentations, face painting, DJ, K9 demonstration, fire truck display, and food stalls.

Board of Director Phani Aytam shares the common goal for the Bloomington Kite Fest.

“Attract a diverse audience. People just come out and have a good time and we want people from all walks of life to keep attracting new audiences and have fun as a family unit.”

For a better tomorrow promotes social justice and focuses on supporting local and global non- profits. This year Kite Fest plans to raise more than $10,000 to provide quality healthcare in Manbu, Rural Nepal, and advanced regional alternative school efforts in McLean County.
