The Student Navigators is a student-led, peer-to-peer program that helps students at Illinois State who are contending with economic hardship and basic needs crises. Our trained Student Navigators can help by identifying and connecting you to the resources necessary so you can focus on school.

Meet the Navigators

Braden Wall (he/him)
Braden is a senior Communications major and Urban Studies minor who loves cooking, reading, and going on walks. Outside of class and work, Braden competes for the Illinois State Forensics Union and takes yoga classes at the rec!! You can probably find him buying a vitamin water at the Fell Vending machine.

Zaria Simmons (she/her)
Zaria is a junior accounting/finance major who loves dancing. When she’s not working or studying for class, she enjoys reading and cooking new foods. You can find Zaria on campus in the College of Business trying to figure some type of equation or in the Bone getting herself a caramel latte to stay busy.
