Information for Employers

The Data Science and Computational Mathematics (DSCM) sequence at Illinois State University is designed to equip students with a solid mathematics and statistics background and advanced computer programming skills required for modern data analysis. The required coursework of the DSCM sequence includes Probability, Mathematical Statistics, Statistical Computing, Machine Learning and Data Mining, and other relevant Computer Science courses.

We’re thrilled to have you here. Employers are always welcome to visit our campus, meet with our students and faculty, and make presentations to the Data Science, Mathematics and Statistics (DMS) Club. We will accommodate every request employer might have in terms of presenting our students as candidates to them. We offer an online database of students’ resumes.
