Teaching

Teaching Philosophy: In my view, the role of the business school is to act as a professional college for managers, and it is my belief that the key idea in curriculum design is that we need to make sure to accommodate three critical components required for training business professionals, namely Content, Application, and Internalization. Therefore, during the process of program/curriculum design/redesign, I attempt to make sure that:

  • Content: Students are exposed to and understand theories/concepts of the discipline.
  • Application: Students are offered opportunities for application of theories/concepts in a business setting.
  • Internalization: Students develop a certain degree of skills and competencies which will enable them to perform effectively within a business organization.
