WELCOME
Conference: INTEGRaL: Innovation Network To Enhance and Grow ReseArch Infrastructure and Links (INTEGRaL) is an NSF-funded project (award abstract # 2324594) that convened ~80 individuals from over 15 research institutions and agencies in Illinois and the surrounding region to address common challenges and explore potential solutions in research administration and research development and consider how a cooperative approach could advance shared goals.
The INTEGRaL conference is an effort of the Illinois Innovation Network to bring research administrators together to discuss how to improve research administration and research development infrastructure in support of more and better discoveries that will benefit society. It provided a venue to explore how institutions across Illinois and beyond can work together to identify specific problems and propose scalable and generalizable solutions to provide sustainable support for growing research portfolios.
This workshop was for anyone who is interested in ways to improve the quality of research administration. Institutional leaders, research development professionals, and pre-award and post-award research administrators at all levels are welcome to attend. We invited participants from all IIN Hubs as well as emerging research institutions, minority-serving institutions, R1 research universities, primarily undergraduate institutions, and community colleges throughout the Midwest region.
