The Queer Coalition at Illinois State University grew out of the Triangle Association (former faculty/staff affinity group) and LGBT/Queer Studies and Services Institute (student resource center). The academic arm of the Institute has been absorbed by ISU’s Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department.
