We on the Board are always trying to look for new ways to enhance the experience for our local chapter here at Illinois State University. We are always looking for new ideas, no matter what they may be. Yasmin Carrillo – President
Hi, my name is Yasmin Carrillo and I am the President of Sigma Delta Pi. I am from Rockford, IL and I am currently a first year graduate student in the Communications program at ISU. A fun fact about myself is that I studied abroad in Avila, Spain!
Hola, mi nombre es Yasmin Carrillo y soy la presidenta de Sigma Delta Pi. Soy de Rockford, IL y actualmente estoy en mi primer año en el programa de Comunicaciones en ISU ¡Un hecho divertido sobre mi es que estudie en el extranjero en Ávila, España!
Sandy Camarillo – Vice President
Hello! My name is Sandy Camarillo and I am the Vice President of Sigma Delta Pi! I am currently a senior at Illinois State and will be graduating with a degree in Spanish Teacher Education and an endorsement in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). My favorite things to do in my free time consist of going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, reading, and shopping!

Actualmente soy una estudiante de cuarto año en Illinois State y me graduaré con un título en la enseñanza de español y un respaldo en TESOL (la enseñanza del inglés para hablantes de otros idiomas). En mi tiempo libre me gusta ir al gimnasio, pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos, leer, e ir de compras.
Emma Martin – Director of Community Relations
Hi! My name is Emma Martin and I am the director of community relations. I am from Lombard, IL and I am currently a senior at Illinois State. I am majoring in mathematics with a minor in Spanish. A fun fact about me is that I have 192 spotify playlists (and counting)!

Hailey Schmidts – Secretary
Hello! My name is Hailey Schmidts and I am the secretary of Sigma Delta Pi. I am from Barrington, IL. I am currently a senior at Illinois State and I will be graduating with a degree in Spanish education with minors in math and Latin American and Latino/a Studies. A fun fact about me is that I was an athlete of three university teams!
