What is Global Studies?


The Minor in Global Studies provides a unique interdisciplinary approach to exploring contemporary global issues and events. The program is designed for students who want to better understand multiple dimensions of a dynamic, complex, and interdependent world. It allows students to choose elective courses under three categories to become informed and engaged global citizens.

This Minor is highly individualized and can be tailored to fit many major fields of study and other minor programs.

The Minor draws upon courses from more than 20 disciplines across academic units.
