Phi Sigma Biological Sciences Honor Society
Phi Sigma is a very active student group in the School of Biological Sciences, and membership in this honor society is open to both graduate and upper level undergraduate students. Phi Sigma are involved in awarding student research grants, organizing philanothropic and community service events, hosting Winter and Spring banquets, and organizing a yearly Research Symposium along with a lot of other fun activities. Ashley will be the Vice President of Phi Sigma for 2018-2019 and Nate is currently a Faculty Advisor for Phi Sigma. For more information, please see their website here.
STEM Alliance
STEM Alliance, formerly known as Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP), is a collaborative campus program with the purpose of increasing recruitment, retention, and graduation rates of underrepresented students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Biological Sciences Student Association
