BIOGRAPHY
Andy Mitchell obtained a B.S. in Chemistry at Grove City College (PA) in 2001. He joined the research group of Prof. Daniel Romo at Texas A&M University and completed his Ph.D. in 2008. After a postodoctoral appointment with Prof. Jeffrey W. Bode (now at ETH-LOC in Zurich, Switzerland) at the University of Pennsylvania, he joined the Department of Chemistry at Illinois State University as an Assistant Professor in 2010. He was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2016.
