Setting a co-host in a ZOOM meeting

NOTE: “Co-host” and “Alternative host” are the same thing.

Why do you want a co-host? Two main reasons:

  • To manage a meeting-in-progress, by policing participants’ microphones,
  • For assistance with managing video downloads, processing, and upload to Reggienet

Procedure

The setting must be made for each meeting:

When scheduling a Zoom meeting, click on the “Advanced” settings (which are really quite simple). You can leave most of them as they are. Scroll to the bottom and enter the email address of the person who will be your co-host.

Also, if you will be recording, enable “Auto-record” and “Record to cloud”
