Hello! My name is Dr. Lisa Tranel. I am an associate professor in the Department of Geography, Geology, and the Environment at Illinois State University.

My Research Interests Include:

  • Alpine Geomorphology of the Teton Range
  • Tectonic Geomorphology of the Guadalupe Mountains in southeast New Mexico​ and west Texas
  • Detrital Apatite Thermochronology
  • Spatial Patterns of Erosion
