ISU Christian Faculty and Staff Fellowship (ISU – CFF)

CFF exists to increase the visibility of Christ on our campus, to provide regular fellowship for Christian faculty and staff, and to provide outreach to the campus. If you’re interested in joining us, we have meetings twice a month throughout the semester. For more information, contact David Loomis at 309-438-7979 or dloomis@ilstu.edu.

CFF provides fellowship for ISU Christian Faculty/Staff, outreach to the campus, encouragement to the ISU Christian student groups, and biblical input and encouragement for ISU Christian Faculty and Staff.

The specific goals for the fellowship are:

  1. To get to know each other better.
  2. To reach out to other Christians that have not regularly attended the fellowship.
  3. To increase “ownership” of the group.
  4. To plan several outreach events/programs targeted to pre-Christians.
  5. To provide unique training/education that is not duplicated by local churches.

The group is affiliated with both InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s Faculty and Graduate Student Ministry and CRU’s Faculty Commons.

At CFF, we believe in:

1)  The uniquely divine inspiration, trustworthiness, and authority of the Bible.

2)  The complete deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

3)  The necessity and sufficiency of the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for my sins and the sins of the world, and the historical validity of His bodily resurrection.

4)  A salvation that is freely offered to all, but individually received by personal faith in Jesus Christ.

5)  The presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of renewing our lives.

6)  The expectation of the personal return of Jesus as Lord.
