Wind Zoning
In September 2018, I collected Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) ordinances for all of the counties that have them in Illinois and updated an analysis that Jolene Willis at the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs had done for many years. Below is a spreadsheet of the various parameters contained in the WECS ordinances for utility-scale wind farms.
