Description: The purpose of Autism McLean is to promote the general welfare of children and adults with autism and to provide support for their families; to support the education, vocational training, and recreation of those with autism; and to aid in the collection and dissemination of information. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
COVID-19: Due to COVID-19, meetings are virtual via Zoom.
Description: Support group for adults who have obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
- Also invites those who have symptoms of OCD but have not been formally diagnosed by a healthcare provider.
- This is not a counseling or therapy group.
- The group’s purpose is to provide support, encouragement, and sharing of resources between members.
- There is no requirement to attend every meeting.
- Although meetings are restricted to those with OCD or those with symptoms, any significant other may reach out to the group’s contact person for information.
Eligibility: Adults 18 and older with OCD or symptoms of OCD.

Description: The Stroke/Brain Injury Support Group meets once a month. The group seeks to establish and nurture a community of stroke and brain injury survivors, caregivers, and family members. Meetings consist of informational presentations by local healthcare providers on a variety of options and resources available to survivors. Coupled with group discussions on individual experiences and obstacles, topics are open for those who wish to share their stories with others. Immediate support for survivors and caregivers from experienced volunteers is also available during the meeting.
Eligibility: Stroke and brain injury survivors, caregivers, and family members.
Additional Information: Group undergoing some re-organization. Hopes to resume services soon, but call for more up-to-date information.
